For the past two months, I have been enjoying the Sleepytime Vanilla tea from Celestial Seasonings. The Sleepytime line from this brand is well known for its strong and soothing flavors. Everyone who uses chamomile sings of its powers of relaxation. I am often so busy and high strung during the day that I need a calming tea before bed. Yes, I use this tea at sleepytime!
If you’re familiar with the original, you’ll note the foral chamomile, cool spearmint and lemongrass but the added vanilla brings the entire drink and experience together by providing a gentle creaminess to the tea. The ingredients also include tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn, and rosebuds. This tea is caffeine and gluten free.
Each box comes with 20 tea bags that should steep for up to six minutes. If you’re on a health journey, don’t worry. The sweetness of the vanilla allows you to skip the sugar. You’ll honestly probably find yourself sneaking sips of this tea during the day because it just tastes that good. If you’re not a fan of vanilla, note that the Sleepytime line has herbal, decaf green and wellness teas, so you can always find your perfect cup. You can pick this tea up at almost any grocery store. I found my box at Walmart.
Thanks for reading lovelies. Give this tea a try and tell me what you think. Do you have any other night time teas that you think I should try? Until next time…XX!
