Everything I Loved About My White Coat Ceremony

Some times, I have to pinch myself to remind myself that I am living my life. I did this at my White Coat Ceremony on September 27, 2015.

Even though my mom couldn’t be there and even though I was considering skipping out, I’m glad I went to my White Coat Ceremony. I spoke to friends and my mentor and decided that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I didn’t want to miss out on.

The ceremony was short and sweet but still very memorable. The governor of Alabama, who is also a doctor, spoke to our class and reminded us to enjoy the journey (even though it is hard) and to learn and absorb as much as possible.

Yes, medical school is hard and I wish my mother could have been here with me (keep her in your prayers), but this is where I need to be and I’m going to work very hard to make sure that I make my dreams come true. I’m grateful for the few moments spent at the ceremony and the awkward moment of being coated in a beautiful white coat that is no longer my size (I use all the glucose for the studies). I am grateful for the blessings that surround me and the opportunity that I have to make myself and my family proud.

Thanks, lovelies, for being understanding of my crazy posting schedule. I hope that I can inspire you to do what you want to do. Now, here are some pictures!

My dress is Ivanka Trump and my shoes are the basic nude pumps from y Summer 2015 Favorites!

Xx, later!

P.S. Thanks Daddy and Ebz for coming through! It meant the world to me.

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts
before writing. I have had a tough time clearing
my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy
writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations
    or hints? Thank you! http://www.mbet88vn.com

Hey! 😀 a lot of times I will just talk about my blog post before I even start “writing”… if I were you I’d try recording myself talking out what I want to say in each post. It will get easier after a while.
